Allow financial sharing law to consider narcissist financial & emotional abuse.
Court starts with a 50/50 split. Causes of the split/associated behaviours are not considered. I want the law to change as the victim of narcissistic financial abuse although supported by the Care Act 2014, is being further abused by this law. The court process needs aligning with section 42(3).
There are 7.4k members of a UK narcissist abuse facebook support group. Every member has been abused financially/emotionally and has poor mental health. This group alone is 0.1 % of the population. In court the victim is often an emotional wreck who in many cases is at risk of further abuse or is in danger. They are then ordered to share the further assets they have left with their abuser. This is not right and does not support the Care Act Section 42 (3)"put under pressure in relation to money"

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
When making decisions about financial settlements for people who are getting divorced, courts can already take into account the conduct of each of the parties. How the conduct of parties are taken into account, and the resulting financial settlements, are a matter for the courts, not the Government or Parliament.
