Cancel plans for "maths to 18"

Petition Details

We want the Government to abandon plans to ensure that all school pupils in England study some form of maths to the age of 18.

Additional Information

We want students to be able to choose what subjects they study after they complete their GCSEs.

Because many children have ambitions that do not require advanced maths. We believe GCSE maths is sufficient education, and if a child would like to continue maths into college then that should be their choice, not the Government’s.
