Apple Devices Should be Legally 'Open' by Default
We define 'ownership' as pertaining to something exclusively belonging to a person.
Apple devices by default are 'locked' and can't be changed in any way whatsoever - this goes completely against the definition of 'ownership' and as such takes away an individuals right to customise, modernise and make the devices fit our needs.
As such, all Apple devices (iPod, iPhone and iPad) should be 'open' rather than the closed state that they're sold as. This is currently known as 'Jailbreaking' and is legal, it should therefore be illegal for Apple to disallow it.
