This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you want students to be able to study International Sign language, but we're not sure if you want this to be taught to all students, or be an option for schools to teach instead of or alongside modern foreign languages.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:

Add British Sign Language into the national curriculum: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/620767
