Bag and single use container tax

Additional Information

We the undersigned implore the Government to introduce by 1st December 2012 a compulsory bag tax of not less than 25 pence per bag. This will apply to all retail outlets including takeaway food establishments, where it will also include single-use disposable containers and drinks receptacles.
