Require verified parental ID to open any online account for children under 13
The Online Safety Bill does not require proof of parental ID for opening online accounts for children. We believe this requirement would help protect children from harmful content and anonymous people. The economic and social cost of contact child sexual abuse is estimated to be over £10 billion.
