Stop Redditch Borough Council demolishing Redditch Library.
We want Redditch Borough Council plans to demolish Redditch Library blocked and Redditch Library protected because it's in the public interest.
Redditch Borough Council is planning to demolish Redditch Library.
Redditch Library is an historic landmark architectural building since 1976 and a key part of the town's history. It's an important social meeting place for residents. A workplace for students and others. It also holds town historic document archives.
The Council's plans to relocate to the Town Hall would not replicate the facilities of Redditch Library. It would also demolish an important part of Redditch town history.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about local libraries are a matter for the relevant local authority, not the UK Government or Parliament.
