Debate the Governments inordinate and biased financial support to business.

Petition Details

This Government has subsidised and financially supported companies, institutions and industries and has as a result had both inordinate and biased influence on relations over forthcoming negotiations on pay and conditions. Please register your support in asking MPs on the ethnics of this situation.

Additional Information

According to research from the High Pay Centre, an independent think tank based in London, FTSE 100 chief executives earn a median of £3.6m ($4.9m) a year – more than 100 times the £31,461 earned by full-time employees. Bosses earn more than an average worker in the UK earns in an entire year.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about the Government's economic policy, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

It's not clear if you want the Government to make changes to its economic policy, or for there to be a Public Inquiry into Government spending. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions should request the action they want the Government or Parliament to take. If a petition gets over 100,000 signatures it will normally be debated by MPs.
