Petition Action

Amend the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 by including more dog breeds to be banned

Petition Details

Amend current list of banned dog breeds (currently 4) by adding the following breeds: American Bully - all kinds (XL, Extreme, Pocket, Standard, Classic), Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier (incl. Miniature).

Additional Information

There have been too many dog attacks, including those resulting in the death of a person, involving some of these breeds.

We believe banning breeding and owning dogs of these breeds would help improve public safety.
