Minimum over 21 adult wage to be extended to 18 to 21 year olds
It is basically wrong to discriminate between a adult of 18 years of age and an adult of 21 years of age when paying a wage especially in the hospitality industry.
Most young adults get abused by employers paying less £5.03 per hour of work on minimal contracts thus not giving a young adult enough to get by and not having any incentive to save at all.
18 to 21 year olds make up the main work force in hospitality and should be paid the 21 and above minimum rate.
