Reduce the yearly earnings for every MP to £30,000 per year.
MP's have been paid far too much got too long. The average nurse salary in this country is £30,000 and they have lost their right to completely strike courtesy of parliament. Cutting their salary by £54,000 a year will save the country around £35 million a year.
Seems a bit stupid that members of parliament can get a salary twice that (if not more) than the average uk salary, as well as claiming expenses in excess of £250,000 each. The time for change is now, let's just hope more than 14 members of parliament turn up to debate this.
