This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

Under regulation 6 of the Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare Regulations, employers must ‘ensure that every enclosed workplace is ventilated by a sufficient quantity of fresh or purified air’. It is up to the individual buildings management team how they ensure the correct levels of ventilation.

You could start a new petition calling on the Government to make CO2 monitors mandatory for public buildings or you could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
