Petition Action

Make a law to enforce customer service availability on websites

Petition Details

Enforce customer service contact details on all websites. These are to be email and phone numbers that take you to Humans. Disallow totally automated customer services

Additional Information

Make Customer service contact details mandatory on Websites

This is to include a valid email address and phone number. Humans are to be available and respond to both. These must be 1st line support, easy to find and use.

Current Issue : -
Too many companies are hiding behind their websites with no customer service, and No Human Customer facing people, which means you are unable to contact anyone when things go wrong.

Evri is a prime example of total lack of customer support, this type of missing customers support is now becoming widespread and needs to be stopped.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

How a private business delivers its customer services is a matter for it, not the UK Government or Parliament.
