Allow supermarkets and places that serve food to donate there unwanted food to homeless people
Having worked for a major supermarket and at a local farm shop I have seen the amount of waste food produce we throw away as a society and it disgusts me. I regularly watched as huge whole beef joints were carelessly thrown away and bag upon bag of bakery produce were too. We now have more people having to resort to food banks to solve there hunger problems as food prices are always increasing and wages are staying down. This needs to be addressed.
