Change the way motor vehicles are taxed
Now that vehicle taxing is paperless why do you have to still tax from the first of the month
Since dvla refunded your tax on a sold vehicle that vehicle is taxed for one month twice
The seller loses tax refund till the end of the month
The buyer has to tax from the start of the same month
When you sell a car you loose the tax till the end of the month of sale
The buyer either has to tax the vehicle from the start of that month or waits till the first of the next month
In 2021 7.5 million vehicles were sold second hand privately so 7.5 million vehicles were taxed buy two people for one month
You don't buy a tv licence on the first to the month or motorbike or insure your car
You should be able to tax a vehicle from any date as long as it's for 6 or twelve months
