Abolish the Dart Charge
Legislate to prevent any additional fee being charge for the use of any public road in the United Kingdom, and to legislate against any commercial interest profiting from penalty charges raised against public road users.
I have been charged for late payment of a Dart charge. I forgot to do it, because I am busy living life, and I resent having to pay an additional fee to use a public road. A private company should not be allowed to derive profit from funding a road infrastructure project that charges road users toll and penalties, when those users already pay road tax for the building and upkeep of roads.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that your concerned about charges for use of public roads, but we're not sure exactly if you just want the Dart Charge to be abolished, or for all charges for the use of public roads to be abolished.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
