Petition Action

Find and ensure the safety of the over 200 missing asylum children

Petition Details

Over 200 children are recently missing from asylum hotels and are likely being trafficked into slavery and the sex trade. The government has a duty of care to ensure their safety. Efforts must be made to locate the children, bring them to safety and ensure this stops and does not happen again.

Additional Information

We have a duty of care over these children which we are failing in.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The Government has said that when any child goes missing, a multi-agency missing persons protocol is mobilised alongside the police and the relevant local authority to establish their whereabouts and to ensure they are safe.
