Vote to agree ALL hybrids and mild hybrids must be subject to emissions testing.

Petition Details

I agree that all hybrid and mild hybrid vehicles should be subject to emissions testing and that MOT bays are easily able to up-skill to accommodate this task. Given the task the motor trade would easily adapt to facilitate testing of these vehicles as part of the existing mot test process.

Additional Information

The risk to our planet that hybrid and mild hybrid continue to drive around completely unchecked is not consistent with creating a clean environment.

Hybrid and mild hybrid vehicles spend the majority of their time powered by traditional combustion engines ( diesel and petrol ), currently they are exempt from emissions testing and free to pollute unchecked.

The Govt should not ignore this very simple fix to ensure our planets survival
