To enable Freedom of Movement forbidding the use of 15 Minute Cities in the UK.
The Government need to remove their plans to implement such policy, due to the necessary reasons to travel outside a 15-minute radius, from their home. Such as to commute to work, see family members, seek medical help and for recreational purposes. Simple daily human activities, will be stopped.
We have the right to Freedom of Movement as per Article 13 of Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Oxford will shortly see this trial, where people have already voiced concerns, such as congestion. Imagine the emissions of CO2 from those cars, the impact on the environment! What about the mental health of those affected by such change, prohibited from seeing family, or going to work. It will also see a decline in the tourism sector, many people holiday in the UK, which helps the economy grow.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about local roads are a matter for the relevant local authority, not the UK Government or Parliament.
Cities that are looking to implement a 15-minute city policy aim to have all necessary amenities in a 15-minute radius and do not include plans to restrict freedom of movement.
If you are concerned about proposals regarding local roads in your area you could raise this with a local councillor who represents you. You can find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them, by entering your post code here: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
