Introduce new funding and requirements for provision of segregated cycle paths

Petition Details

Any new roads being built should be legally required to have provision for a cycle path, segregated from motor traffic. Furthermore, the Government should provide funding to retrofit segregated cycle lanes onto the existing infrastructure.

To improve and open up new cycle ways. To improve conditions and safety for cyclists and for drivers of motor vehicles. To promote cycling as a green transport alternative. To help our target of net zero carbon emissions.
