End bank intrusion into personal privacy under Anti-Money Laundering rules.
The UK government has implemented a series of anti-money laundering regulations aimed at financial crimes causing significant intrusion into the personal privacy of citizens. It's time to end banks' intrusion into personal privacy and to strike a balance between financial security & our rights.
Constant surveillance by banks creates an environment of distrust & fear. Individuals are made to feel like suspects in a criminals. The impact is felt by everyone, from small business owners to individuals, who are left to navigate a banking system that no longer respects privacy.
It is time for the UK government to reassess the impact of these anti-money laundering regulations. We cannot allow the fight against crime to erode the fundamental principles of a free and democratic society.
