Petition Action

Stolen Valour Act U.K.

Petition Details

Draft, debate and vote on a ‘Stolen Valour Act’ for the U.K. legal system, in the hope that enough votes are received, for it to become law.

Veterans charities, housing, education, employment etc are all being infiltrated by Walter Mittys, without any consequence, without any deterrent.

Additional Information

The US legal system already has the Stolen Valor Act 2005, various countries around the world have equal laws that protect the sanctity of military service and post service, as Veterans.

If these last few weeks have taught us anything, it’s that Walter Mittys can infiltrate their way into Veteran organisations and even reach the table of the Prime Minister.

This is an insult to those who’ve given their lives and health, for our great nation and it laughs in the very face of the cenotaph.
