Make the term dates across all schools in the UK the same
I want the Government to make the half-terms the same across the UK in both primary schools and secondary schools
I would like this to happen because if Parents would like to take their Children on holiday during half-term they would have to pay fines because of the dates being different in some schools

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
The UK Government is responsible for education policy in England, but education is devolved in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, so the UK Government cannot take the action you request.
We could accept a petition calling for the Government to set term dates for all state-maintained schools in England.
