Petition Action

School children to be granted 5 days a year as authorised without a fine.

Petition Details

To give every school pupil 5 days holiday every academic year to be taken during term time. This allows each pupils family to take a clear break in much more affordable circumstances from day to day life stresses.

Additional Information

The NHS is under more pressure and are increasingly desperate for support with peoples mental health. If families cannot take holidays together due to being in such financial crisis especially with the cost of living crisis, we will create a generation of children that grow up with even more mental health issues than to date. Studies show that time out to unwind and relax is a massive part of stress, depression and anxiety relief which is what we need to see more of as a society.
