We want a nationally recognised day for the British-Bangladeshis.
We want the Government/Parliament to recognise and support a national day which celebrates the culture and contributions of the British Bangladeshi community.
The establishment of a nationally recognised British Bangladeshis day will be a significant moment in British history and a testament to the strength and resilience of the British Bangladeshi community. It will provide a platform for British Bangladeshis to come together, celebrate their heritage, and promote their cultural traditions and values.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
The Government and Parliament are not responsible for the designation of days to celebrate particular nationalities.
