Petition Action

Allow recognition for emotional support dogs in the UK.

Petition Details

Allow emotional support dogs to be recognised and certified the same as any other service animal as currently emotional support dogs get no recognition.

Additional Information

Emotional support dogs help with all kinds of needs.
As a veteran I do not meet the needed criteria for pets for vets (veterans). There should be other avenues for this help and recognition which the government are able to help with, also enables the necessary governing body to carry out the needed checks for breeds of dogs which would be not problematic for Joe public within public confines.
