To look at and change the laws for children in care.
I would like children in care to be able to have the same rights and opportunity's as their peers irrespective of their parents nationality.
Their is just under 100,000 children in care in Britain today, one in ten of these children will have a nationality or immigration issue. These children are missing family holidays and school trips that are offered to their peers. My worry is not that they cant go on holiday it is that these missed opportunity's can lead to feelings of not belonging, poor social and emotional health and can lower their expectations for the future. They are our future generation we should do better by them now.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about certain arrangements in respect of non-UK nationals who are in care, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
