Deport foreign national prisoners (extend ERS) from UK prisons and save Milions
Government should reduce prison population and not build new prisons. Criminality will grow if more people will go through prison system in long term. Foreign national prisoners are held by tax payers and these who want or will be deported should be processed earlier by 24 mths to there half way pnt
More then 10000 foreign national prisoners are currently serving sentences and will be deported/removed from UK at some point. There is no reason to keep them as they already been identified/sentenced. In the light of cost of living crisis and prison capacities there would be logistical act to remove them from UK. I believe they are no longer risk to the public. In case anyone decides to comeback illegally, strict penalties should be implemented.
Decision to build new prisons instead is wrong

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
The Home Secretary must already make a deportation order in respect of a foreign criminal unless certain exceptions apply (e.g. where deportation would contravene the UK’s obligations under the Refugee and Human Rights Conventions).
Your petition refers to extending the Early Removal Scheme, but it's not clear exactly what changes you want to be made to this scheme.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
