Maria Miller removal from office
Maria Miller should be dismissed from the government in response to her wrongly claimed mortgage expenses; trying to thwart an investigation into her parliamentary expenses claims, and her derisory 'apology' to the House of Commons on 3rd April 2014. The decision of the all-party Standards Committee requiring her to repay only £5,800 should be overturned. The original finding of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards that she should return £45,000 should be implemented without further delay.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Maria Miller should be dismissed from Government - This is a party political matter and not a matter for Government.
Finding of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards to be implemented - This is a matter for Parliament not for Government
