Drug child exploitation
Tougher sentences for those exploiting young people to sell drugs
If drug dealers are caught using children to sell and move drugs then the sentence should incorporate child abuse

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about children being exploited by drug dealers, but we're not sure exactly what offences you'd like sentences to be increased for. There are a number of offences that could apply to cases like this, and each will have different maximum sentences. Decisions about Sentencing Guidelines are a matter for the Sentencing Council, but we can accept petitions calling on the Government to increase minimum and maximum sentences for specific offences, as these are set out in legislation.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
