Hold a referendum to implement direct democracy

Petition Details

To replace representative democracy as Technology exists that would facilitate a system of direct democracy. Except for emergency responses that would require subsequent ratification all policy decisions would be made by the electorate rather than by representatives - MPs, Councillors, HoL members.

Additional Information

Representative democracy is inherently corrupt - selection, election, reelection, promotion, idealogue, ego, incompetence, blackmail, personal gain. 3 of last 6 PMs are unelected. Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Ukraine wars. TBTF bailouts. Unsustainable population growth. Foreign ownership or control of Food, Transport, Utilities, Health, Education, Security, Justice. 99% loss of purchasing power and cost of living crisis.
