Create an Artist Song Lyric Submission Box on the BBC Introducing Uploader
If artists submit their lyrics to the BBC Introducing Uploader, the team at BBC can effectively safeguard what is suitable for broadcast.
This would eliminate issues of misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and any other offensive language.
With BBC Introducing having such a large listenership, we believe it's important that what is broadcast on the show is safe and progressive.
Having a lyric submission box is a great opportunity to make positive change within the music industry, especially for the new generation of artists.
It will also showcase the strength of artists lyrics & provide further song description for the BBC team.
We would like this proposal to be adapted nationally.
