Petition Action

Ban online dating.

Petition Details

Remove online dating from under 50 year olds.

Additional Information

Male virginity has tripled in the last 10 years due to shallow hook up apps like tinder. Online dating apps like tinder and bumble completely eliminate the element of personality compatibility which is the main indicator of the health of a relationship and instead dictate relationships forming based on the way you look which is leading to people who are stereotypically unattractive to be bound to life long loneliness as they are unwanted by other online dating users.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about how people meet and arrange dates are a matter for individuals, not the UK Government or Parliament.
