Make first aid a compulsory part of the school curriculum
Make first aid, recovery position, etc. a compulsory part of the school curriculum for all students, not just health and social care students.
I know someone who is epileptic, and they had a seizure in front of me and I didnt know what to do because I had no training. If the ambulance didnt come in time and they didnt tell me what to do whilst they were on their way, something worse couldve happened. I think everyone should receive this training because even though they never know when its going to happen, theres always a possibility that they may need to save a person’s life.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We are sorry to hear about the incident involving your friend, but the Government's Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education curriculum requires that all students be taught first aid in primary and secondary schools. This includes "life-saving skills". It is up to individual schools exactly how and when students are taught about first aid.

Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education curriculum here: assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/908013/Relationships_Education__Relationships_and_Sex_Education__RSE__and_Health_Education.pdf
