Petition Details

To back a compensation scheme where by Nurses and Support Workers who sustain an injury whilst at work from being assaulted by a patient

Additional Information

May Nurses and Support Workers sustain injuries resulting from an assault in the execution of their duty and may need to have a period of time off work to receive treatments and recuperate. Many only entitled to a few months of full pay, followed by half pay and then statutory sick pay leading to financial problems during a troubling time.
