Give adult adoptees a right to have adoptions annulled

Petition Details

Allow adults who were adopted as minors to have adoptions annulled. This is particularly important in cases where adoptees no longer have or want a relationship with adoptive parents, or were abused by adoptive parents.

Additional Information

I was adopted as a minor, but I no longer have or want contact with my adopted family. I have a relationship with my birth mother and want my original birth certificate to be reinstated, so that there is no legal document connecting me to my adoptive family.
