Additional Information

A Part P Certificate is required for high risk areas, for example, kitchens, bathrooms, under floor heating, outside work, adding wiring which does not already exist, etc.

Part P electricians DO NOT have to be fully qualified electricians. Something I didn't know until recently. Why not?
THIS NEEDS TO BE AMENDED.

A Part P electrician who is not fully qualified surely is only a COMPETENT PERSON and therefore should not be able to do work in high risk areas.
THIS NEEDS TO AMENDED.

The HOMEOWNER IS RESPONSIBLE (according to Building Control) NOT the ELECTRICIAN when the Part P Certificate is not supplied.
THIS NEEDS TO BE AMENDED.
