Recognise Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) as a serious/debilitating condition
Change the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) & Personal Independence Payment (PIP) application policies towards patients of HS • Acknowledge HS to be eligible for a DLA/PIP award where applicable. Also, with the addition of Hidradenitis Suppurativa as a medical condition in it's own right.
A chronic painful life changing condition where mental and physical health is dramatically reduced
Chronic pain daily. No mobility during flare up

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Disability Allowance and the Personal Independence Payment is paid to people who have a health condition or disability which causes difficulties with daily living or getting around. These benefits are paid based on the difficulties causes by a health condition or disability, but there are not particular conditions which result in these benefits being paid.
