Repeal Facebook's law against adding people you do not know
I do not understand why Facebook have a law against adding people you do not know. Many people on Facebook do not like this law either. Not all networks have this rule. I don't think MySpace or Twitter do.
How are you supposed to meet anyone new? If it is really that wrong then why do Facebook allow you to recommend friends and even recommend friends themselves? I have even been blocked for adding recommendations.
How do Facebook know someone is telling the truth? I heard one day that someone got blocked for adding his cousin.
What if you find an old friend here?
If you agree that this law is unjust then please sign.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This is a matter for the social media networks to consider, not the government.
