Help reduce the incidence of vehicle theft.
* Police have to investigate each case of stolen cars ( not just to give you a reference number) to recover the CCTV where possible and to look for thieves.
* No BAIL for vehicle theft.
* For each stolen vehicle more than 7 years of prison with no right of appeal.
* Just with severe and strong rules we can reduce vehicle theft.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about how to investigate reported crimes are an operational matter for individual police forces, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to increase minimum and maximum penalties for vehicle theft.
