Bring forward the 30 hours free childcare for children 9 month+ to April 2023
Bring forward the 30 hours free childcare for children 9 months and above to April 2023 so it benefits and impacts the lives of working families now.
The proposed start date of extended 30 hours free childcare of April 2025 simply will not help the vast number of families across the UK who require this support now. The cost of living crisis has affected numerous families and immediate implementation is necessary to help those in need present day, not in 2 years time. The inflated costs of childcare has made things increasing untenable for working parents.
