Stop the ratio changes for 2 year-olds in nurseries in England

Petition Details

The Government should not reduce the existing adult-child childcare ratios from 1:4 to 1:5 for 2 year-olds in England as has been announced. We believe this change would endanger staff and children.

Additional Information

Staff will be stretched even further, potentially affecting morale and wellbeing.

Retention in nurseries could fall further and recruitment suffer because of these changes within the sector.
