Stop RAF Scampton being used for housing 1,500 migrants.
RAF Scampton was the base of 617 Squadron in the Second World War from where the historic Dambusters raid took place. It is also the home of the world famous Red Arrows display team.
Apart from the historical and cultural factors involved, the idea of depositing 1,500 male immigrants in an isolated location with few facilities just doesn't make sense. This site has only recently been chosen for a £300 million levelling up project, the result of 14 years of planning which makes the idea even more ridiculous.

We cannot accept petitions about operational matters, which includes decisions about what specific government facilities to use to accommodate asylum seekers.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government not to house asylum seekers in any military facilities, if that's something you'd like to happen.
