Remove 3pm blackout rule for football fans in the UK.
Football matches aren’t allowed to be televised at 3pm on Saturdays in the UK. Making it legal to be televised would reduce illegal streaming and make football more accessible for everyone.
People already spend large amounts of money to watch their team play, often for very small amounts games to actually be shown on tv. It is a very outdated rule that is over 60 years old and is unnecessary in modern times.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about when to hold and broadcast football matches are a matter for the FA, the Premier League and the Football League, and broadcasters, not the Government or House of Commons.
As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
