Stop UK foreign aid going to Uganda
All foreign aid should be withheld from the Ugandan government in response to passing new laws concerning LGBTQ+ people.
The Ugandan parliament just past a law that prohibits any person from identifying as part of the LGBTQ+ community. We send 10s of millions in aid to this government and we should stop doing so until they repeal this law. It’s bad enough they already imprison/execute their people for consensual acts between adults in the privacy of their own home, they now intend to do the same just for being something that can’t be changed!
