Pass a bill allowing anaesthetic to be used on routine female procedures
Pass a Bill that makes it a law that requires medical practices to offer anaesthetic to women during routine or necessary procedures that are currently painful and have no alternative choice to treat common health issues or to use widely used contraceptives.
This Bill would help to create smaller disparities in the inequality within the medical field, between men and women. Women’s health is underfunded and their pain is underplayed, and this Bill would allow women’s heath to be taken more seriously and allow for necessary procedures to be done whilst being pain free as well as this it would enable more women to choose certain contraceptive options without putting themselves in a position of pain.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about when to offer anaesthesia are a matter for the NHS and individual clinicians, not the UK Government or Parliament.
