Stop the government from sending depleted uranium shells to Ukraine
As the subject heading states we would like the government to not send send depleted uranium shells.. why would we want to cause further damage on the Ukrainian population.
As reported by the UN this type of weapon is believed to cause cancer and birth defects..
How can a country which prides itself on the value of human life make such a reckless decision..
It is shocking when viewed alongside the Americans refusal to send such shells and is fundamentally perverse..
Indeed, we suggest Russia would potentially make use of a dirty bomb, yet we are providing Putin with a route to do this by bring the first to use weapons with nuclear materials/waste..
This is morally and ethically reprehensible..
I am horrified that the British press has down played this by only providing limited headlines and simply spending valuable page coverage with Boris Johnson..
