Create a centralised Procurement Dept. for all Police Forces to purchase from
Currently each Police Force has the ability to purchase systems/uniform/vehicles/assets/devices, at various rates/issue contracts to suppliers at different rates and prices. Why not remove 42 x Procurement Functions and a national Dept.?
This will drive cost efficiencies, return tax-payer funding to front line serivces, invest in strategic solutions, drive cohesive budgets, align supplier costs and specifications of products, free-up resource across each Police Force, and operationally deliver a better streamlined output for the public and businesses

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about police procurement are a matter for individual police forces, not the UK Government or Parliament.
