Make it a legal requirement to state the salary/salary range on all job ads.
Government should pass a law to make it a legal requirement to state the salary or the salary range on all jobs advertised in the UK.
Research has shown that four in five (78%) jobseekers are less likely to apply for a job vacancy that does not display a salary.
In not displaying a salary, employers risk wasting both the time and effort of jobseekers and recruitment teams should the salary fall below expectations at the interview stage or later.
