MP'S expenses
The independent commissioners report on abuse of an MP's expences should not be able to be ammended by any parliamentary committee or arm of government.
MP's marking their own homework has repeatedly proven unsatisfactory, completely destroys the electorate's trust in MP's and undermines the whole democratic process.
The select committee on standards should only have an advisory role to the commissioner.
